When Ashton and Elise danced their first duet four years ago, it felt as though they were floating on clouds. Time softened. The music swelled. And with each lift — he carried her with more than strength. He carried her with reverence.

What we witnessed was more than choreography. It was partnership suspended in air. Devotion balanced on breath. The sacred trust between two souls — one lifting, one soaring, both believing. Not a dry eye in the audience.

This duo captivated audiences everywhere in 2023 — and their partnership continues.

This little idea has been swirling around for a long time, and seeing it finally come to life has been such a joy. It’s a very special collaboration featuring Jessica's original artwork and the beautiful work of Kustom Kreations in Maple Park.

These duo t-shirts were inspired by a lift that means more than words ever could — a design born from a moment in 2023, the first year the duo danced together to “The Best” by Tina Turner. Some dance moments just stay with you forever… and this one is simply the best!

A huge thank you to Miss Jenny, who has been such an inspiration as a fellow small business owner (and published author)! It truly takes a village. If you haven’t discovered her yet, check out the wonderful Poppy Goes to Dance book collection.

Maybe someday I’ll follow in her footsteps and write a book about this special duo. Although fair warning… the shirts took three years to create, so if the book follows that timeline, expect a release date around 2029. 😂

With the second dance competition beginning on March 12th for Vision Dance and running through St. Patrick’s Day, we thought it was the perfect moment to celebrate:
