A Passion Unveiled

Our love story began more than thirty years ago at Michigan State University — sharing simple glasses of “fruit wine,” introduced to us by my father, Papa John. What started as a humble sip soon blossomed into a lifelong passion. That shared curiosity carried us through Michigan, Wisconsin, Tennessee and eventually to the sun-drenched vineyards of Northern California. 🍷

We were married in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan — a place that still holds our hearts. ♥️ Years later, while celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in Napa Valley, we discovered wineVEILs® at Mumm Napa — and it was amore at first sight. For over twelve years, these handcrafted beauties graced our gatherings, sparking conversations, curiosity and admiration around the table. Today, as the proud stewards of wineVEIL®, we are honored to share a product that embodies artistry, intention and timeless craftsmanship.

Our story is also stitched with heritage. My great-grandfather Michael immigrated to the United States from Russia and opened a tailor shop — a tradition carried on by my Grandpa Bill. That devotion to craft, quality and detail lives on in every wineVEIL®, each one sewn by hand in the USA with care and pride. 🧵

We are a small but mighty family run business, and we are delighted that all four of our children are involved every step of the way… this is where adventure meets sophistication because we all bring something very different to the table. We are based in Chicagoland, handcrafted here, we are woman owned, and you will not find us on Amazon.

We have partnered with local craftspeople who pour their hearts into every stitch; and we have been blown away by their unwavering commitment to excellence. Alejandro uses his expertise to cut the gorgeous two-tone chiffon fabric to perfection. Leo and her team create the exquisite wineVEILs with their experienced and skilled hands.
